    Metrix Group averages 24-48 hour quote turnaround.
  • What are your lead-times?
    Lead-times depend on square meters, product type finish complexities (Folding / Powder Coating). 15 working days covers most options. Read more about the Metrix Process here

    Metrix Group is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. We will get back to you within 1-2 business days via phone or email.
  • Does Metrix Group install the perforated metal sheet for their clients?
    Metrix Group has a network of approved installers we recommend to clients who need a quote to install our perforated metal products. Get in touch with sales@metrixgroup.com.au and we’ll happily point you in the right direction.
  • What is the standard process for ordering the materials?
    Simply email sales@metrixgroup.com.au with product details and quantities.
  • What is the process to order a bespoke perforated sheet?

  • How do you maintain the perforated metal sheets and panels?

    Metrix Group’s perforated metal products have been fire tested to AS/NZS 1530.3-1999
  • Where are your products made?
    Our products are proudly made in Melbourne at our Head Office factory. Learn more about us here
  • What are the standard sheet sizes?
    We have 8 standard sheet sizes as below
    1800 X 1200 2400 X 1200 3000 X 1200 3600 X 1200
    1800 X 1500 2400 X 1500 3000 X 1500 3600 X 1500
  • What kind of shapes can you perforate?
    We have over 120 pre-designed patterns in all shapes and sizes ready to choose from. If you don’t find the style you’re looking for, we can assist with customised perforations.   • What if my perforated metal design needs to be changed?
    Adjustments and changes can be made during the drafting stages of the design. We work with you to ensure that you are happy with the final design prior to sign off. Learn more about our Design Studio here
  • What kind of finishing do you offer?
     Metrix Group recommends powder coat finishes for all interior and exterior applications.
  • Do your products come with a warranty?
    Metrix Group’s perforated metal products come with a structural integrity warranty of 10 years. Aluminium products can be upgraded to a 25yr Powder Coat Warranty.
  • Can I get a sample of your products?
     Yes, we stock A4 sized samples of all of our standard perforated products in pre-selected powder coat colours. For larger sizes or customised samples please contact our sales team who can confirm a cost & lead-time to manufacture on application
  • Can any image be perforated into a picture?
    Virtually any image can be perforated with our state-of-the-art design facility and expert designers. As always, we are happy to consult on adjustments to ensure the best result is achieved.
  • What is the thinnest and thickest material you perforate?
    Aluminium 0.5mm – 6mm
    Mild Steel 0.5mm – 2mm
    Stainless Steel 0.5mm – 1.5mm
  • Are perforated metal products suitable for cyclone-prone regions?
    Perforated metal in cyclone-prone regions needs to be engineered to suit the location, height of building and terrain conditions. Contact our engineering team for more information at design@metrixgroup.com.au
  • What product materials are available at Metrix Group?
    Metrix group offer a range of perforated metals including mild steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, stainless steel and HW350/Corten
  • What hole size can you perforate?
    As small as 1.5mm to as large as you like.
  • What open areas can be achieved?
    Open areas can be as low as 5% (privacy) or as high as 75% (decoration and ventilation), however the most common open area is around 50%. 
  • What does 3D Artform offer that standard 2D perforations do not?
    3D perforations offer a variety of benefits over standard perforations. Not only do they look striking, they can also provide thermal benefits, ventilation, visibility or decorative effect. The forms can be rotated up to 360 degrees, form heights varied and even integrated with standard 2D patterns. The result, a truly unique, versatile and architecturally stunning product.
